It's going to be a nail biter today to break the record and tie the 1935 Cubs. 4-3 in the 6th. Amazing record if they can do it. It's stood for 82 years. The all-time record is 26 wins but apparently there is a tie in there that ended a game in the 13th inning. I don't consider that a pure record but it was under the rules of the day.

What a streak.

But as good as it is, from a bettor'e perspective the streak that got broken last night was the more unlikely if you asked me when each of the streaks started. The Dodgers.

If anyone would have told me back on 8/26 that the Dodgers were about to lose 15 of 16 I would have said no fn way. Back then I thought that the Dodgers were gonna roll right through the World Series. Now I don't have a clue how far they go.
