The Tribe had a hard time with the Yankees during regular season.
That means nothing at all. The Cavs went 2-0 against the Spurs in the regular season. Are the Cavs or Spurs NBA champs? The Indians played NY at home during their post all star slump, when they could not beat anyone and could have taken at least one against them in NY. Wedge, with first base open, pitches to A Rod who hit about 20 homeruns his last 2 games before that. Manager mistake led to that loss after A Rod knocks it out of the park to win. The Yankees are way too inconsistant, the Indians win this series.
The Yankees won game 1 against the Tigers last year and then proceeded to get their ass kicked.
and last year the indians didn't even make the playoffs so they should just be happy to be there by that reasoning BTW if you want to compare last year to this year tigers pitching is a ton better than indians and the yankees pitching is at least a lil better then last years team but Ok then............if yankees win game one it will be just like last year and they won't win another game right
I believe the yanks couldn't beat anyone either at that time but they beat the clev 6 times outta 6 that is at least a mental edge and with the cavs and spurs comparison REALLY the spurs are a dynasty the cavs are a young bunch .......thats comparing apples and oranges of course theres value in a dog but only if it wins we shall see if the indians don't win game one it will be over quick IMO
What? You believe the Yankees could not beat anyone in the beggining of the season and after the all star break? That is a huge span of time you did think the Yankees could beat anyone. Did you happen to check their record after the all star break? You know, the exact time they played the Indians during their big season slump.
Apples to oranges? No, it is showing that regular season and post season are two completely different ball games. I brought up a differnt sport but that is the only difference.
