Was really amazed at them only being 17 point favorites over App St. I don't normally do this but I went ahead and bought another 2 points and locked it in at -15. I just don't see this being inside 21. Good luck.
App St returns the most starters of any program this year and had a decent week one putting up almost 500 yards offense...I still agree Clemson should still win but if they take them lightly anything could happen as they have a quick turn around game @Louisville thursday night they could possibly be looking ahead to..
Great Q!! Dumb move. What"s going to happen to that D when they face an O that's breathing??
Maybe, but I'm up quite a bit from baseball so I didn't mind paying the extra juice to get the number at 15! If you think it's dumb then that's your opinion, but it's my money. I still think it's a good play at 17 so take it how you want. I was just giving my opinion on the game.
Good luck and enjoy the game. This could end up being a nail biter so I like the Mountaineers in this one...
I guess I'm in the minority with MattyMatt on this game. The overwhelming consensus is that Clemson will dominate Appalachian State with no problem whatsoever.
I don't feel that way. I'm tempted to wait for the public to bet this up to 18 and then make this as 1 leg in a 3 team 10 point teaser. This way, I'd get Appalachian State +28 (+18).
The backdoor trash TD for the Mountaineer cover at the end of the game looms large here, and let's not forget Clemson has a quick turnaround to play at Louisville on Thursday 17th.
Will there be a lookahead? !/
I'll most likely pass on this game. However, I want to wish all Clemson bettors the best of luck! :toast:
This line does look awfully low, my #'s make Clem about a TD higher but folks like to play the returning starter angle early in the season and this game features one of the bigger differences in RS you will find with App St having 20 and Clemson only 8. With Clem in the obvious look ahead spot to L'ville I think the books have set the line accordingly, maybe too much so. How big of a loss would you factor in for the Clemson WR Mike Williams going down, I guess he was Watson's favorite target?
Line up to 19! Really liking my 15 now, even if it's juicy. If it happens to get to 21 I may take App St and hope for a middle. Any thoughts?
