Don't all Yanks-Sox series start with a 10-run Bosox win, then one of the Yanks 4 aces beats Pedro in a one-run affair in game 2, followed by a Yanks roll in game 3..didn't I see Boggs riding on a cop's horse in Yankees gear, and Roger said he wants pinstripes in Cooperstown, and that mature Manny(the guy that saves Boston in gm 5) wants to return closer to his FAO-Schwartz in NY?
Just kidding, forget the 10-9 NY-Bost season numbers, as it should be a tough series, but Beantown lacks the pen to win, and it's hitters(their edge?) have been tight thus far(sans a few shots), while NYY has been steady-grinding, if it comes down to pens..Yanks win in 6!
Mia-Cubs..tough call..both are close-to-the-vest living..Cubs have an edge in starters..Fla more balance in line-up..Urbina edge over Cub pen..intangibles a wash(Dusty vs.Fish 2nd half mojo)..Cubs in 7 due to double starts by Prior and Wood is my call..Pierre and Conine vs Sosa and Ramirez batting production are key batting indicators is my guess.
