Same thing happened to me. Classmates said a former classmate of mine sent me an email through their web site. I have been emailing her husband a couple times a week for over 10 years so I asked him to ask her if she sent me an email through Classmates. Nope. Scam.

ok here is the deal..i just visited for the first time in a long time and also got paranoid,when i started seeing my name left on peoples' page..if you go to your classes message board you will see a box over to the right that says recent visitors and you will see your name on there...

UNDERNEATH THAT BOX YOU WILL SEE THIS...

CLICK ON THAT AND IT HAS AN OPTION TO CHECK TO KEEP YOUR NAME OFF...

Leave my name on recent visitors lists.
Do not leave my name on recent visitors lists.


and on the page where you click on an individual it has an option to erase your visit to the page
