I decided to write to this forum for the first time in occasion of the statements given by Mr. Roberto Castiglioni regarding the Gaming Control Board and the Betpanam situation.
I received a phone call from Mr. Castiglioni requesting a meeting with the On Line Gambling Department of the Gaming Control Board of Panama, to talk about the situation of some accounts with Betpanam. I told him that he could come to see us at any time, but as far as getting information about any compliant with this site, i was not authorized to give information but only to the player with the complaint or his legal representative (which in this case according to our regulations Resolution 65 and others, have to be an attorney).
For some reason he is posting wrong information for the players and that is why, I decided the come forwards and make some clarifications.
First statment gave by Mr. Roberto
If you accept any agreement offered by Betpanam you will lose your right to file another complaint.
I never said that to him, if you use your logic that will indicate you that if Betpanam does not comply with it, you will then have again another dispute which give you the right to file again another complaint.
I told Mr. Castiglioni that if the players accept any agreement offered by Betpanam and then because of that the player decide to withdraw his complaint, this is between the player and the gaming site, and the Gaming Control Board will accept it, and the player will not lose his right to file another complain for unfulfillment of Betpanam.
I have received e-mails from players saying that Mr. Castiglioni is the new proxy holder of their account. In this case Mr. Castiglioni will have to present to the Gaming Control Board the proper legal documentation in order for us to proceed.
The Gaming Commission will have to decide evaluating the documentation if he should be consider the new holder (or owner) of those accounts not needing in this case an attorney.
Gentlemans.
The Gaming Control Board have order Betpanam to pay all their costumers. Also we have initiated the internal procedure to execute the bond, but I believe this process is going to take a few weeks more. Knowing this, they are still making payments to their costumers and sending us reports about it.
