Rating this casino would be greatly appreciated. From the accommodations there along with the food. The area surrounding the casino....is it safe? All the -'s and +'s of the Circus Circus Casino would be nice! THANKS

put it this way, there are better places. next door you have slots of fun, and westward ho.

across the street you have riveria. down at that end of the strip you will get the crack dealing ho's

heard the food is bad, don't know about the steak house.

one positive things is they have an indoor amusement park, and circus act. great for kids. altough i never thought this to be a place for kids

my suggestion, use travelaxe.com and get a nicer room a few properties up. that area is going down hill down there

cicus cirus casino, is for the people with children, its a joke. Also i am from compton, when i go to vegas i dont want to see the same people i left.

Go to paris, mgm, main street, new york new york. if money is the problem go to golden nugget or fremont.

One of the very best Steakhouses in all of VEGAS..............I HIGHLY recommend it.

BJ matchplays coupons can be picked up at the gift shop.....just ask.

Some VERY nice slot and VP plays in the past and the sportsbook is somewhat ok.

Other than that, the kids and overall crowd of the casino will drive you nuts.

Grand Slam canyon is a joke. The indoor carnival/arcade is pretty good but outclassed by the newer casino's. Do NOT eat the breakfast buffet. It's every bit as bad as everyone says. The round table sure gives it a run for it's money but no contest. The round table isn't all that bad for dinner but breakfast or brunch are the two to avoid at all costs but why go there when you can hit the Spice Market? Can't comment on the rooms but given the age would say that you'll get a "healthy" dose of cigarette smoke. IMO you'd be better off at the Sahara. The strat is decent for gambling but the rooms are pretty sh!tty.

If you want to play, you got to pay. The nicer the property, the higher the price for most of us.

Most overrated: Palms*
Most underrated: Orleans*

*Based on what is charged for room. Scenery, and other intangibles are not included in my calculations.

Normally, I'd be courteous in an explanation but I specifically stated in my last sentence no less, you dolt, that it was ROOM PRICE, NOT COMPS, NOT HOT WOMEN NOR PROXIMITY TO OTHER CASINO'S.

I would like to change my vote about the banning also, a la SportSavant.

fishhead,
this is one i STRONGLY disagree with you on.
if you are looking for a vacation experience, DO NOT go to Circus Circus.
Bargain hunter with a car....yes.
But, a first time or Vegas vacationer, don't bother with the big tent, far better values elsewhere.
I know you will agree with this, sir.

i have been to Circus Circus a few times in my life, and I loved it.. It is far from the cheapest hotel in Vegas. The prices is about avg from every other hotel in Vegas.. There are much much cheaper hotels in Vegas than Circus Circus. Their buffet was good, and not expensive. They always gave out free buffet coupons and free BJ match plays. The pools are nice outside, and the amusement center upstairs is great. It is like Disneyland up there along with the flying trapeze and all. You are a 1 min walk to Stardust and the NEW frontier. You are close to the tower where the highest roller coaster ride in the world is. I really liked that area a lot.. And how about those foot long hot dogs right next door at Slots A Fun.. mmm, cannot wait.. But when I get a kid one day, I will definitely take him to Circus Circus. Great atmosphere there and everyone seems so happy. I am not staying there this year, but I will surely go there and spend a day or two to hang out there..

I agree...and the race/sports book is poor also IMO...very, very small, crowded, smokey, only a couple of mutual windows, very few tvs with poor viewing and poor seating...they do have some individual monitors in a few seats, but you need to get there early to snag one - the race/sports book is way, way too small and dumpy for the size of the hotel - they definitely cater to families/kids, and there are much better places to go/stay if you like the more adult functions/entertainment in LV...

However, it is right next to the Bungy jump, which is a blast...
