Cincinnati Reds at Philadelphia Phillies (7/6/09)
So July 4th was good to us and we cashed in for the fourth straight day in July. July 5th we took an off today, but today we are back at it looking to continue the run.
Tonight's game takes us to Philly where it seems the Phillies have gotten themselves back on track and are mainly playing better ball because of the newly inspired Jimmy Rollins. It is no secret that Rollins is the catalyst behind this team. As Jimmy goes, so too do the Phillies.
On the hill tonight for Philly will be Cole Hamels, their ace pitcher who right now has looked anything but an ace. With a losing record to date, you can rest assure that Hamels is far from happy with his performance.
Some interesting trends to be aware of tonight:
Tonight I am on the under in this one. I expect Hamels to get himself back on track here against the Reds.
