DEFENSE RANK:
1. PIT 36 = 3.6/GM
31. CIN 11 = 1.1/GM

OFFENSIVE RANK (sacks given up):
32. CIN 38 = 3.8/gm
29. PIT 35 = 3.5/gm

i looked at this to see how the divisonal games fared, due to the fact that there is usually a rivalry and it is thought players step it up a little.
divisional game sacks on the year:

9.14 - PIT/CLE-5
9.21 - CLE/BAL-5
9.28 - CLE/CIN-4
11.2 - BAL/CLE-3

9.29 - BAL/PIT-8
10.19 - PIT/CIN-7

9.07 - CIN/BAL-2

AVG. = 4.85/GM

at first glance i thought o5.5 would be easy money. but cincy's lack of qb pressure has me thinking otherwise. that being said i think PIT can cover this themselves, especially with the injuries on the CIN line. last week PHI got to the qb 8 times and got 2 theirselves. Last week the steelers gave up 4 while getting 2 themselves, and it was cold, just like tonight.

anybody else see some value here?

At first glance, absolutely. The argument always is, "if its too good to be ture...bla bla bla..."

I would assume after giving up 8 sacks the week before, that would have been one of Cinci's main points in practice. However, off a short week, they may have had other more important things to look at. I wish you luck with whatever you choose.

Considering that both teams will be running a lot on first and second downs with average to poor success (especially Cincy), there should be several 3rd and longs where the QB just takes a sack instead of risking a turnover. That fact -- that a sack is better than hucking a ball up for grabs on 3rd down -- will help the play.

also where the total is set helps i think. low total saying it should be more of a slugfest, tougher defense.

bengals with new LT and LG against Harrison and Co is not a good sign. Steelers should have 5 themselves and Ben always gets dropped a few times

Plus, the Bengals have dropped 4 straights to the Steelers. Bengals are 0-5 on the road and 0-3 within division. With C. Johnson out, it makes it easier for the Steelers' D. Steelers should win by 18 in my prediction.
