This is the weekend where the books will start their winnings and the public's good fortune will end. I noticed this trend, when it comes to the holidays, your not suppose to gamble and if you do, you will lose.

I see more 1st half covering by the road teams starting this week.

I see more dogs covering also.

Good luck Piranha. One of the few guys I pay attention to. Good to see you posting and not giving a fuck. Everything I have in my database shows the exact same trend. Books know that the holidays are a big time for recreational guys to bet. Hence taking more dogs and road teams than you otherwise would. Totally agree. Happy holidays.

Hard to believe.

Just confused by this whole train of thought as the Bears have 3 wins and are the dog in this game.

Not to mention it's the first game listed on the board.

Wasn't saying that the theory applies to every game. It's just a small data point in the bigger overall picture. It's not a strong enough trend to just bet every dog or play every road team. It might influence a lean someone is on the fence with. As far as the actual Skins @ Bears game goes, I'm staying away from that one. I know that wasn't what you were referring to - just adding that in.

Don't wanna hijack Piranhas thread with my ideas, just saying I agree with him. Good luck today gas man!

Yeah I hear ya Brady just sorta contradicted the public vs. time of year angle. I am guessing Washington is getting the money at least from the public.
