They will? What on earth makes you think that? Because they played well against two high school teams?

I'm all over Wake at +4.5

FSU has only played high school teams...maybe so, but they have played strong and consistent. Here's a comparison of Chattanooga against OK and FSU. We can all agree that FSU is no OK, but offensive stats match up suprising close.

What on earth makes you feel so confident in Wake? What has Wake done? Beat Baylor away and slipped by Ole Miss with a 41 yard field goal with 3 seconds left at home. Game Stats:

Yes, Wake has looked good in this rivalry in the last few years, but this will not be the same type game. This is a different FSU team with many weapons on both sides of the ball (Surrency, Carr, Smith, Reed, Nicholson), not to mention a smart QB that can stretch the field. Oh, and Preston Parker is back. The only negative in this game is FSU's kicking game (Gano). One last reminder- Home field Saturday Night Primetime Game: it will be a rowdy, very loud crowd.
Call me crazy but FSU rolls:pope:

My point is FSU may have had an easy schedule so far, but they have played strong. They've opened up the play calling, utilized their speed, and took advantage of their talent. FSU is no OK, but this should validate "What on earth makes me think" this...

Good luck on Wake...I'll stick with the stronger team.

How did ranked underdogs do on the road last season against nonranked home favorites?

You know, I don't like the smack talk....but bottom line is that FSU has been 1 QB away from being good for at least 4 years.

Christian Ponder is a dang good QB and that is why Weatherford as a Senior is on the pine.

FSU will win this game.

The full quote:

“I got to say we’re not going to lose this game,” Ponder said. “It’s going to be tough. I think everybody is going to be prepared and everyone is going to be excited so I think it’s going to be tough for us to lose this game.”

“I’m not guaranteeing anything but I think with how prepared we’re going to be, we’re going to be fighting hard and I think it’s going to be tough for us to lose. … I think we’re going to make a statement.”

I really dont see anything wrong about what he said, he is supposed to feel that way cause if he didnt then he doesnt need to be on the field.

I am a Noles fan, and I will not be betting on either side of this game because I don't think we know enough about FSU (good or bad) because of the lack of quality opposition. There are better lines available on games where there is more information to go off of.

That being said, I don't really have any huge problems with what Ponder said. He didn't say anthing obnoxious. FSU has been lacking confidence for the last couple years, so this could be a good thing.

Regardless, calling Ponder a "moron" is just plain ignorant. He is a red-shirt sophmore in his 2nd semester of grad school.
