If Christie is as calculating as some people think, then one would think that he would also have to be smart enough to know that this could come back and bite him on his large backside if this thing blew up.

I'm a Christie fan and hope he can get through this. But if he didn't know, he was incompetent, and if he did know, he's complicit. Neither option is a good one for The Big Man. Politicians have survived worse, and he is a very talented, gifted Politician, so he might survive. He's also the only viable shot his Party has in 2016 and the Big Wigs and money people in the party know that.

If I'm the competent, on top of it Governor, I've thought Christie was, I'd ask, what the F is this traffic study about, and keep on pressing until I get answers. It's disrupting the lives of thousands of commuters on day 1 of school, etc., what do you mean an F'n traffic study? Not sarcastically joke that he was operating the cones when asked about it weeks later.
