I think expect way too much out of yourself. You said you have had a number of winning years in a row (maybe four but I can't remember what you said) Your human, your going to lose sometimes. Nostradamus was considered one of the greatest at seeing the future but even he made hundreds maybe even thousands of predictions that never came true. You can't see the future, if you could you'd be a billionare. Do what you are comfortable doing and just remember the first rule of betting, don't bet what you can't afford to lose. Have fun and if you win great but if you lose don't beat yourself up over it.

over the years....it seems when i take a team and they lose....then i go against them the next night....they win....then i get caught up in the flip flop effect and can't seem to pick the right side ....these teams i try to stay away from...until they can put a little run together....

i never understood how somebody could like one game for 1 unit and another for 3 units.. why not just put all 4 units on the one he liked most..
really, when i said "bump up" the amount of the wager, i was referring to that, only if you were to stay with the "one per day" for a long while, which your not...
if im handicapping, i can live with and actually choose the "one per day". however, when playing a system, you must follow the system guidelines and play whatever that calls for..

Lets say I cap the Cav's game over Washington and I determine that my line is Cleveland -10.5. The line opens 5 and I say wow, that is a pretty big edge, so I will assign a top play of 3*s because I think the line is a whopping 5 points off.
Same example where I have the line capped at 10.5 and the line opens 8.5. I say wow I have about a 2 point edge so I will assign a 1* play because I have what I consider a nice edge.
