I liked the Jets from the start, but was hoping the price would get cheaper. It did go down a bit (at one point the juice for 3 was 130 or 135). Was hoping to get it down to (-120) -- I keep reading and talking about how buying points is probably a poor strategy in the long-term. But it is either this, or the ML (+123) or FH (+1, which is also tempting).
The Jets have a little confidence after beating a shitty 49ers team as a road underdog. Now they are a home underdog and Miami is now feeling the pressure, especially with a backup QB. Part of the reason I considered FH is because it may take some time for Moore to feel comfortable, but I don't want to get to cute. The book is clearly inviting Miami bets with a -2.5 and while I know websites listing consensus are hard to trust, FWIW, they also indicate a lot more Miami tickets.
Anyway, this just seems like the right spot. I must confess I am on Pitt this week and that is almost the exact reverse situation -- I am on the short road dog against a divisional rival having a tough year. The difference, I suppose, is that I trust Pitt (and their QB) to win tough games to make the playoffs, and I am not so sure I trust the Dolphins

Carr's finger made their offense turn to dust last week. This week won't be as bad but 50 is a serious number.
Dallas TEAM UNDER 27.5 - 1 unit
Both of these defenses have been on-point, and yes, I do think Jerry Jones has handed the team a giant shit sandwhich by creating a QB controversy, needlessly. A lot of pressure. Dak will probably win this game, but I don't expect them to score 28 vs a defense that has only allowed 63 points in its last 5 games (including SEA, SD and NO).
