I know Bedard has been great this year & that Floyd has been inconsistent but he has bounced back from rough starts with better ones his next time out.I'm following a hunch & thinking the Sox bounce back from last night's ugly 9-1 loss.

That and he got shelled last out.

Floyd got smoked by the Jays on Friday night, giving up six runs on nine hits and five walks over 4.1 innings.

Floyd has now had two starts with five or more walks already, and after Friday's start his ERA stands at 5.79.



Bedard had a little trouble in the fifth inning when he allowed all of his runs and three hits. Other than that, he breezed through the start. In four starts this season, Bedard has struck out 29 and walked three.
