Definite upgrade for Da Bears... Should make them the team to beat in the NFC.... BOL with the Cubbies... Being a life long suffering member of Red Sox Nation, it would be nice to see the Cubbies get over the hump also....

Bears #1 WR was drafted to return kicks and play defensive back.

Bears #2 WR couldn't learn the play book so he didn't see the field last season with Brandon Lloyd and 147 year old Marty Booker ahead of him. YIKES.

Angelo cut Justin Gage and Tennessee picked him up for nothing. He's a Pro Bowler compared to what they'll be trotting out at WR.

If they don't sign Torry Holt their WR's are going to be the worst in football.

They better pray their O-Line stays healthy or Cutler will get killed back there and the Broncos will be drafting very high next season.

Favre wants to be a Bear now is the word

Jets give the Bears Rights to Favre , Cotchery and a 2nd and 3rd rounder for Cutler

Packers get 2 first round picks from Jets because of trading him to the division is the latest

Cuttler is a friggen cry baby. He was upset that his name was mentioned in trade talks and they didin't tell him. Who's he going to throw to, Hester, give me a break. I'll take Aaron Rodgers from Green Bay, the rest of the division sucks.

I saw most of every game, and yeah, he was off a lot. He seemed to get better as the season went on, but after he hurt his ankle, he went back in the tank. He has trouble looking off his primary receiver, too.

Cutler may be lacking in the leadership skills coveted at the qb position, but the bears should make up for it with the veterans they have. They should be an 11 win team easy enough. Especially, if they can set up the pass by running like last year. There is no question that Cutler has a big time arm and can make the big throws.

i watched a few bears games on nfl rewind; orton's playbook was made simple, he didn't utilize all of the field and he went to checkdown real fast; didn't look off receiver much but managed the game pretty well;

bottom line - when the bears are close in the game and can feature the run orton was okay but if the bears got behind they were in trouble because orton's success is very dependent on the defense respecting the run;

cutler had no defense respecting the run last year with all of the rb injuries and flourished;

it got so bad last year i stopped playing on denver because they pulled games out of their ass then could lay an egg just as fast the next week

think bears and lovie will go after torry holt also??

As is, the Bears will make a good run for the North. Baring some sort of great QB pickup by Minnesota, the Bears should be the favorite. But if they want to go any further than that they will need an experienced receiver. Hester's a good deep threat, but his hands are ?. The second year man Bennett, I don't believe, has even caught a ball. Davis is there best receiver and nobody know who he is. They need an experienced receiver to bring these other guys along...maybe two.
