I really like them in this spot today....cubs are a dead team and zambrano has been up and down...he pitched a complete game 1-0 loss last saturday...yes hes on an extra days rest but i think he will be a little short on his pitches....buerle is tough and not a lot to fear behind soriano and d lee....i c this game being buerle to bobby to victory...

I was leaning toward the White Sox as well, but if Buehrle doesn't last 7+ innings, then there's the risk of that bullpen blowing the lead. Jenks blew that lead the other day, so even he is not immune. Hopefully when the lineup card comes out, things will become a little clearer.

I'm leaning Cubs. They have a habit of lighting up Buehrle & Zambrano has been pitching really well lately (but the Sox also have a habit of lighting up Zambrano).

p.s. The over is 3-0 in this series

While the prospect of the White Sox bullpen is certainly a frightening one... i think it only applies if the team they are facing can HIT the ball and take advantage. Hell, the Cubs couldn't do shit with Padilla on the mound the other day.

The way I see it, Cubs can't hit.. Sox have no bullpen... gonna be a crapper of a game.

I originally liked over for myself also...but we don't know hich Zambrano's gonna pitch today...he could possibly give up 5 runs in 1st inning or he could pitch with no hitters....

Not a HUGE follower of trends (i don't treat them like gospel) but they are in favor of the over today,.. even in the past when Zambrano has been more "solid"...

Over is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings.
Over is 5-1-1 in Zambrano's last 7 starts vs. White Sox.
Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Chicago.
Over is 6-2 in Buehrle's last 8 starts vs. Cubs.
White Sox are 2-5 in Buehrle's last 7 starts vs. Cubs.
