Chevy Chase's greatest film role?

After seeing Caddyshack for the gazillionth time, I personally think Chevy Chase's Ty Webb role was the best he has done.
Better than the National Lampoon Vacation films.

He and Dan Ackroyd were pretty darn funny together in "Spies Like Us." The scene where they're cheating on the exam is great, as is the sequence that shows them going through the physical tests.

vacation when the staion wagon jumps the end of the road.....he and rusty and standing with their hands on their hips
rusty says(with excitement) geez dad you must've jumped that 50 feet
carl says thats nothing to be proud of rusty
then to himself with pride he says ahh 50feet.........that just kills me every time i see it.....not sure of exact wording but close

vacation and christmas vacation are highly unnderrated comedies..

never hear them mentioned in the top all time .

some of the stuff between clark and cousin eddie is classic.

when eddie is in the driveway wearing a bathrobe drinking a beer while draining the motorhomes holding tank kills me everytime...

i have to say the vacation movies, the 1st one and the European one have some great one liners delivered by him.

another movie that wasn't all that great overall, but had a few good scenes and lines by him was Funny Farm.

I agree Louisville. I loved Funny Farm. The crazy, drunk, mailman. He couldn't catch! lol

And his hot wife. Was she hotter than Beverly D'Angelo?
