The fact that this story broke several days ago and unless I missed it, has not benn discussed in this forum tells me 1) apathy, or, more likely, 2) stories about the corruption in this administration are so commonplace that they don't even make front page news anymore.

To think a vice president is removing content from an EPA report to congress to have it say basically the opposite of what the author intented. Yeah, and he didn't influence the CIA on their intelligence report on the pre-war report on Iraq. Right.

The guy is absolutely pure evil.

2) there are dissenting opinions and the White House's position is reasonable

There are two sides to that story as well Gtc08.

Dr. Hansen at NASA was a paid hack by the Kerry campaign when he brought out those allegations right before the last election.

How convenient that the Heinz Foundation gave him a personal award for $250,000 during this same time frame. That was money he could pocket...and NOT for research.
