This should be a good way to make some money in the first round. Any thoughts on using this method?

it seems that every playoffs atleast 1-2 teams without home court advantage take the series in the first round. so i'd be weary of this method

Heres what I was thinking of. You can only do this for the weekend games. Since all the games are over before the next one starts. The only way you can lose is if no home favorite covers the entire weekend.

Start with game 1 Chi at Bos. If Chi covers double up on Clev the next game and so forth.

i guess besides the cle and laker team, every other matchups to me are all pretty much even, if you chase the home favorite, I rather chase the away dogs...................

Home favorites hit over 60% in the first round.

I do plan on playing the Heat over the Hawks every game though.

I think you should stick to the Western Conference for this, I might actually jump on that strategy for two reasons:

1. The lines will tend to be smaller I think in most cases because there's so many closely matched series (series prices are evidence).

2. These teams are all very good home teams and questionable road teams. I havent done any official research on it BUT it seems that over the last 3 or 4 weeks (at least), in matchups between two West playoff teams ven including Phoenix, the home team had a lot of sizable victories. Even when its the two same teams playing twice in the span of a few days (NO-Dallas comes to mind), the home team won by DD in each game and covered ATS I think.

I'm in on this I've decided. I like it out West especially, but Celts and Cavs dominate home court so I think it will work out well overall in the first round at least. GL to anybody else whos with me :103631605
