charlotte/louisville tonight?

i heard charlotte leading scorer demond brown was in some legal trouble and may be suspended for tonights game. any update on his status?

I asked the same question in the College Hoops Forum. Received a couple of responses so far, but as of yet not satisfied that I have complete enough imformation. Check the responses. May have to wait for either ESPN Sportscenter or search the net for local newpapers.

His status is not as big as some think. Charlotte will win without him tonight. he has been ineffective since his arrest anyway. on top of that he is injured. so I would cap with the mindset that he will not be playing tonight. and Id still take Charlotte

Though I have no knowledge of Brown`s status tonite, my guess is Lutz(who is as straight-arrow as they come) will sit Brown until the legal questions are answered. And yes, Brown might not have played anyway because of injury. I am a season ticket holder and one just can`t trust Charlotte. They play super defense and are deep, but they live and die heaving the 3. When it is string music, it is pretty. BUT... Brown can go 8 for 12 or 2 for 16; he`s often out of control.

ted i live in charlotte and taking my son to game
he has set in practise this week because of an injury and did not start in the ecu game
he was somewhat in the <dog house> before this incident
from what i here the coach is leaning toward sitting him because of the injury and the incident
with all that i am sure he will score 20 tonight

The school has taken no action against Brown and a spokesman said
Wednesday no decision had been made as officials continue gathering
information on the charges.
Brown missed two days of practice this week with a deep thigh bruise
and had a limited workout Wednesday.

dee brown was the lead story on the local 6oclock news tonight. story stated that no decision has been made as of 6pm. public opinion poll is 70-30 against him being allowed to play tonight.
