I do not see a problem with it. The STL Cardinals did a package with groupon this year

cardinals probably have zero problem with attendance though and it was more of a deal to appreciate fans... i reckon san diego ticket sales are slumping and this is a ploy to produce some more... @)

Cards draw well as we all know, but still I don't see it as a big deal that the Chargers are doing just to get ass's in seats. If the Cards were selling out every game, they would not be doing groupon for sure either.

reason they did this was to try and avoid the blackout.....

did not work.....

gm is blacked out on Sunday vs Carolina.......

&

there is some doubt over the reg. season finale vs oakland.....

going to depend on how many oakland fans buy up the tix.......

turner has destroyed the entusiasm that once existed for the team......

once the season ends,.....& he is fired......

fans will return to support 'em

So many of these teams think their tickets are gold.. Glad to see them finally waking up. I'd say that about 70% of tickets to the 4 major sports are worth, in terms of demand, less than half of their face value nowadays.
