As Seen on TV (ESPN): Teams have to spend $85,000,000 (85 Million), thats the "Bottom Cap", the minimum every team MUST spend.
If a team cannot manage to spend $85 Million on Players then the amount below $85,000,000 gets divided between players on that team's roster.
TV Revenue Payments are what was said to have been a chief driver of what we are seeing take place.
"TV Revenue"....
Television.
What would the NBA need to do to keep TV most happy?
Deliver the best product. The most enthralling product, to give them their $$$$$$$$$worth.
Question #1: How is it possible that this does not equate directly to a Rise in ATS Dogs in TV Games cashing tickets?
"Parity". As many teams "in it" whether that be just in Games (competitive games) or as many teams in a run for the Postseason as possible would seem to be MAX +EV for the NBA...where making TV's investment worthwhile would be concerned.
Question #2: Is there a definition for TV Game anymore...with NBA Network, ESPN games, local broadcasts...whatever else...streams...
are all NBA Games "TV Games" now?
