Just heard from a friend that he OD'd on Coke at Gronk's house. Not widely known yet.

Haha. Can't guarantee it but my buddy received the info from his friend who supposedly worked the call.

Settle down, fellas. Never guaranteed it and I'm sure "OD" was too strong of a description. Guy who worked it told him, def will be no arrest. If anything it was prob a known party. Upon hearing the news of no arrest my friend replied, "God, I love Boston"

He has been a full participant in practice, so if he OD's there is no police report and no ill health effects.

I suspect this is not true -- if only because a police report would've likely happened, or a leak from someone at the hospital.

Next time keep pointless opinions to a non issue to yourself. Lighten up. Been on here for years and this is the first non pick thread I've started. It may not be related but there a few things on twitter of people asking about a health issue, so apparently a "rumor" had started somewhere.

I felt compelled to come back here and apologize to the OP. It seems he was correct....boston herald is now reporting that Chandler Jones "sought medical attention early sunday morning" it reeks of a cocaine OD although that obviously wasn't in the herald story

Yes, Comcast Sports NE said Chandler Jones had a mysterious trip to the ER. Supposedly he was at Gronk''s house and for some reason Gronk wasn't at practice. Also, BB had a black eye. Unless there is an arrest -- and if the cops are Patriot fans -the truth may not come out. But if a poster on therx knows about it, I would assume word will get around the locker room, the league etc... and this could be a distraction for sure. Fuck.

problem with that theory is that cocaine is gone from your system in 24-48 hours

Plus, unless they are in the program, the tests can't be sprung on someone this quickly. NFL players who aren't in the drug program know when they get tested. In any event, coke would be out of the system long before the NFL could get a sample, assuming that is even the case.

Just another example how those cocksuckers do business.

Yeah, NFL players do drugs, but only guys on the Patriots .... those cocksuckers. No other rich, young, nfl players have ever partied with drugs before (if that is what happened, the Foxboro police say there is no police report it is a medical issue). Even if it is drug-related, I don't refer to drug addicts as cocksuckers. I think that would be a pretty contemptible way to treat people who are, according to the American Medical Association, sick.

Although you didn't have to...it's appreciated. No worries.
