I am going to make a bold prediction here and say they dont even make the playoffs.

How long has it been since a defending champ has even won a playoff game the next season?

I think in order for them to have a shot, they need home field throughout like they did last year. And I just dont see that happening 2 years in a row in that brutal division.

I have a SF vs. NE Super Bowl. NFC Championship: NO vs. SF AFC Championship: IND vs. NE

Division is strong, NFC is also stronger than the AFC. Super Bowl hangover could be in effect. Missing the playoffs really is not a big stretch

I went against you on the Seattle Over/Under wins 2 seasons ago if you remember. Of course, you were spot on.

Hope you are wrong this time. :103631605

I don't have a good feel for the total this year.. very small lean on ov 11

I bet my buddy $500 they wouldn't make the playoffs last year. They are a tough ass team.

I understand.
I can see fear all over your post.
I dont blame you for not wanting to fade the Saints.
Smart move.

Seattle's problem is they play in a bitch of a division. The NFC Championship game against the Niners turned out to be the real Super Bowl last year. The Cards were what, 10-6 and didn't make the playoffs? The Rams are no joke either...definitely getting better.

I'd be very interested in an "NFC's Super Bowl representative will come from the West" type of prop if I come across one when I'm in Vegas next weekend.

What makes the NFC West any different than last year when Seattle won it?

STL keeps getting better every year. SF is SF. AZ will certainly be better on offense this year. The defense is a ? due losing Washington and Dansby.

Tougher defensive holding rules will not be in Seattle's favor this year.

Target is much bigger on Seattle's back now after winning it. Plus the human nature that goes along with winning a championship. For many, the same hunger and drive is not there the next season.
