Write ups are for squares that need to show a reason to justify their play. People who read writeups need it to support their logic for making the play. Basically all the homework that goes into a writeup was done before making the number. Give me a two paragraph writeup supporting the team laying 7 and when I'm done reading it I will probably take the 7. Unless you have significant imfo on a game that very few others have write ups are a waste of time.

Sorry Lou no disrespect and I know posters appreciate your work. But to be honest I skip over your write ups and go straight to the bottom where it gives the team your picking

I have been doing writeups for years because after the season is over I go back and evaluate my picks and the reasoning that went behind them in an effort to get better. This season has not been my best and after it's over I will look to correct my mistakes, as I do every season. I'm in this for the long haul and I find it's best to know why you were on a game so you can repeat the success that you had using a specific method or change certain strategies that aren't working for you. How do you approach it?
