Can anybody tell me why pinnacle waits so long to put up the half lines??? It's game time in 3.5 hours and I gotta go in an hour or so, and i'm sitting here checking every 5 minutes. Every other book had these out yesterday.
What do they have to gain by waiting so long??

Edmonton and BC deserve full marks for their wins last week and they are both getting alot love this week as underdogs. I really believe that both of their seasons end tomorrow.

Edmonton nutted up big last week in Winnipeg, but Montreal is just a far better team. Edmontons offence is inconsistent, while Ricky Ray is a CFL stud, he doesn't have alot of help. His o-line doesnt protect him, and they have a hard time opening holes for the running game against good defences. Not that Ray needs alot of time to play his style, but even if he plays a perfect game and EDM scores 35, Their defence will give up 40. This defence likes to give up the big plays, and this game will be on a fast track indoors. I think AC is also a genius of a QB and he has a much easier task of playing the soft EDM secondary. And he will have all the time in the world to find open receivers.

It does bother me a little that Montreal hasnt played a meaningful game in a month, this will be the test for coach Trestman who is widely being regarded for coach of the year this year and will seal the deal tomorrow if the Als really give it to the Eskies. I know this much, if I had a choice between Marc Trestman and Rick Moranis...er.. Danny Maciocia, to coach my team, I would much rather have the Trestman in a heartbeat.

In the West... Ok lets face it. We all know that I cant cap this game objectively. I honestly feel that Calgary will blow BC out of McMahon. The Stamps have been very dominant since Labour Day with a record of 8 - 1 and 5 - 0 at home. The avg margin in those 5 games is 22 points. Everybody at TSN wants to make love to the BC front 4, and they deserve alot of credit for what they do, but what is not being mentioned is that they will face, what I believe to be, the CFL`s best O-line right now. BC will need more of a great team effort if they are even going to hang around in this one.

Here is one tidbit in BC`s favour... I heard on the radio today that Calgary DB Lenny Walls will not be playing tomorrow, he hurt himself in practice. Lenny Walls is part of the reason that Calgary`s defence has really come together in the latter part of the year. He took over the cornerback spot after Calvin Bannister lost his job due to injury (and because he sucks). So the Stamps have brought back J.R. Ruffin, who hasnt played football since his season ending knee surgery 14 months ago. I have no idea what kind of shape he`s in, but BC will no doubt attack him.

MTL ML & CGY ML (2 units) parley

I will post what this pays when I make the bet. It would appear as though either Pinnacle, or my computer isn`t working properly.

i dont think Pinny will let you parlay ml's you will have to tease the games

too bad we are on opposite sides tmr in the CGY/BC game but not surprising given we cant go against our home towns.

Enjoy the game!

Thanks Powerz good luck with your bet.

I still cannot get into Pinnacle so I phoned my boy Faj and he got the bet in for me. The problem seems to be with my home computer. You were right Pinnacle doesnt allow a ML parley, so I did a 6 point teaser, which in this case, is the same thing. 2.00 Units pays 2.00 units

Adding:

Mtl -6 (1unit)

CGY -6 (1 unit)

I will have to update the juice, and my record, tomorrow. I gotta run to the stadium for some tail gating madness.

BOL everybody.

Well, I guess this is a little obvious, but, going with the Stamps tonight. My record betting on the Stamps this year has probably made the difference between a winning and losing season, so why stop now? Not that I need to add anything to this game to make it intersting. Both the Stamps and Als have had moments this year when they have looked simply unbeatable. Everybody goes on and on about the two offences but I really like the two defences to shine tonight. I am thinking Stamps 29 - Als 19.

Unfortunately I have been hit with a food poisioning/flu/death like illness the last couple of days, and will not be able to enjoy this game properly (drunk). I tried to muscle down a beer last night while watching the Flames game and almost yakked halfway through it, though it may have been the Flames that prompted that.

Good luck everybody and enjoy the Coupe de Grey!

Calgary ML +105, (3 units) biggest bet of the year, why not.

will add 1st half under when I can for 1 unit.

Congrats on your team's win.

As much as I hate to admit it, any team that can go 7-0 against the two best teams in league (BC, Montreal) clearly deserves to be champion. The best team in the league this year was definitely Calgary.

Thanks Buck, and everyone else this has been a really fun season. I hope everybody enjoyed the grey cup as much as we did. For my Stamps it took many years of underachieving with lots of talent and little discipline. I have to credit this win to Coach Huff, the maturing of Hank Burris, and a Defence that looked shaky back in july, but by November they won both playoff games.

I hope everybody has a happy holidays, and I look forward to next season.
