241 Edmonton Eskimos
242 Winnipeg Blue Bombers -2½ 55

243 British Columbia Lions
244 Saskatchewan Roughriders -3½ 54

im all over the riders. pierce is VERY banged up even though he is toughing it out, the riders have great run defence and having been at the home playoff game last year and going again this year the crowd is unlike anything seen in canadian football. dont forget how much extra they will be hating on the lions after the beercan incident last time. lions in for a LONG day.

I am leaning towards the Riders myself but only thing that worries me is their offense is terrible...Bishop, Dyrant, Jyles are all out of sync IMO...and throw in the fact that BC beat them the last two times in the back to back this season worries me...still undecided however...good luck!

Based on my PR I had the Bluebombers -2 so that line looks right.

I had the Riders/BC game at Pick. So the thing to note here is that all year long the riders have been undervalued based on PR now they are overvalued.

Hmmm - Having said that BC looked horrible trying to tackle anybody last week.

they lost to bc minus cates, fantuz, flick, dominguez, mackenzie. close game though, they had the ball at the end with a chance to win both times.

their offense has put up 130 points in their last 3 games so i wouldnt be overly concerned with that.

bc also has pierce, roberts and clermont with injury issues now. pierce was totally ineffective vs. calgary and took some heavy shot to an already screwed up shoulder.

bishop concerns me no doubt but the home crowd and only 3.5 points is a gift i think. by game time this goes up to 6.5 - 7 i envision.

Roberts' injury is almost a good thing. Logan came in last week and did a much better job. He's younger, quicker, and at this point probably faster than Blink is.

That being said, it is really tough to back the Leos this week. That Rider crowd is brutal. Also, hard to tell where the Leos' psyche is. Someone needs to wake their defence up. If Javy Glatt isn't interested in playing, time to put in Pottinger. If Brent Johnson is going to keep trying to draw the holding call, might as well go with a 3-4 and put him on the bench.

So many other areas where the Riders currently hold the advantage... 3.5 is such a painful number.

I do agree...but I dont think the line will go that high...maybe 4 max in my opiion...so far I like the Esks and Riders both on the ML...good luck!

I see it at -3.5 at Pinny...

That game against BC last time was bull ISH! A few blown calls in my opinion was the deciding factor in that game.... although I think I listened to that it on am radio at the lake and drank about 14 beer... Still maintain Riders were robbed...

I will be at the game on Sat... I will weigh in on this as it gets a bit closer to game day... I haven't posted a pick on the Riders this year simply because It would probly be a bias pick...I am 7-3 in Riders games 0-2 when I bet against them.. and leaning towards them this weekend...

weather will be below -0 C, usually much colder and snowing this time of year... still leaning towards the under.. which is at 53.5

I'm a bit surprised Bishop is getting the start. Lions' DL has feasted on him in the last few matches.

TOUGH TOUGH GAME TO DECIDE...

I like the Riders at home but cant trust Bishop's wild erratic play against a very stout Lions D

I like the Lions defense but they are on the road in Rider nation and looked horrible against Calgary's backups

This is very tough

take the riders at -3 if you can get it. you WONT regret it.

bishop doesnt have to do what he was being asked to do when the offense was without cates, fantuz, flick and bowman.

they are getting jeremy oday back as well sending makowksy back to his regular position.

bc's era is over

Looks like Flick will be out in place of Bowman, although I don't think it's quite yet confirmed.

No Matt Dominguez also hurts.

With Clermont back in the lineup, it's almost looking like BC has a chance here...

flick and dominguez dont hurt, it is better they are out. they arent healthy yet and dressler and fantuz are just fine. flick / dominguez were both way too tentative in their last 2 games. they both want to play and the fact miller wont let them should indicate their extreme lack of health.

buck pierce is not 100% and they are saying him and JJ will split duties, always a recipe for disaster.

clermont is his first game back so who knows how healthy he is, he might just be in since it is a playoff game.

i still love the riders even at -4 which it is at right now at diamond and thegreek
