Will limit my action this week as don't have much time due to work.
Adding an early play:5* San Jose St +9 -110
The Spartans come off a bye week, while the Broncos had a hard game in Memphis that included a long travel.
To be honest, both teams are in a similar state. Talented rosters that are not well-coached. Talked with Broncos fans and they're angry with Andy Avalos's decisions, pretty much like we're with Brent Brennan.
This game is really crucial for Spartans staff. They need to win 5 out of 7 games to get to a Bowl. They've had one extra week to prepare for this game.
Boise has been vulnerable to big plays. We have a solid OLine and a talented QB capable of throwing and running, it's time to use him. WRs know how to get open, just need to be consistent.
Boise starting RB George Holani has been injured since week 1. So the defense will have to focus on their QB Taylen Green. He'll be a handful, but I think he can be contained and not allowed to get outside, he may be forced to run inside and slide, or throw downfield. He is not an accurate passer thus far. He's barely completing 50% of his passes. Pressure on him will be key but can't leave the field wide open or he will hurt us. Spartans secondary is talented enough to handle receivers, force Green to make mistakes, be opportunistic, and win the turnover battle that can be crucial at the end of the game.
The Defense should be able to the Offense to keep their rhythm and control the ball.
So, I expect a close game, under a score. This kinda game doesn't usually attract many bettors so the line won't move I guess. +9 is a great number. Spartans should also have a shot to win SU.
This is my game dissection, it took me 15 minutes. Hope the Spartans staff spent more time and resources to do their job.
