Like Kentucky. Ole Miss scares me because their road schedule is brutal and at home they include memphis, South Carolina, Auburn , Miss St, and thats not counting Vandy. I think Nutt pulls off a road upset ...or two but you might need two to pull out 6 wins.

The schedule is never really going to be easy though playing in the SEC. I think they are capable of beating all those teams at home, even Auburn. Is it likely? No, but it woudln't be the shock of the year if they won. Memphis and Vandy should be pretty easy wins for Ole Miss, and then they have games against Samford and UL-Monroe, which again should be wins. I'm just counting on an upset or two the rest of the way, and with games against Arky, WF, Miss St, South Carolina, and Bama I think they should be able to pull it off. This is a pretty trendy pick though, which usually doesn't work out too well.

I like your Georgia under for the season and Iowa over. I think this is a good bounce back year for Iowa. They were really young last year and had some close losses. Ferentz should have them back playing better this year. Not sure about Ole Miss. I can see them coming up short but who knows.

Iowa has been absolutely putrid on offense in their scrimmages and I don't think it has been because their defense is overwhelmingly special. Ferentz has been very disappointed and I think Iowa is ready to give up another "stinker" of a year.

OTK, I wish you a lot of luck this season because I like seeing everybody win money myself, but I don't see much on your card that I agree with. In fact, I am already on Tennessee as I can't see anything about UCLA that I could bet on at this time in the season, AND I am considering a play on Louisville in that game as Kentucky WILL take a huge step backwards this season and Louisville has nowhere to go but up in improvement over last season.

Iowa also has major off-the-field issues. And a subpar QB. I would stay away from the Hawkeyes. I made the mistake of playing them over their win total last year, however, so it may be a case of once bitten, twice shy.

Iowa is a strange team this year. Last year they lost an entire offense to injury and had a good defense. Their off the field problems and injuries led to a disaster in the 2nd half of the year. I think with a lot of guys back now on offense and most of the problem kids off the team, they could be a little under the radar. Their defense should be above average again.

Sooners, you're right that Kentucky will take a step back this year. That I will not argue. I will however say that I don't think it will be as big of a step back as many here believe. They are just as good as Louisville, if not better. Louisville hasn't really improved their team this year, and although they do have a very good QB in Cantwell, he is still a step down from Brohm. I think UK should win this game.

As for Tennessee, my play is not against them. UCLA at home shouldn't be getting 7 points though unless it's against a team like USC. UCLA has a very good defense, some threats on offense and a solid coach that will have his team prepared. They might not win, but they should keep it close.

Yeah they have all the Div 1-AA lines as long as they play a Div 1-A team. JMU plays Duke week 1 and will beat them.

Thanks harvey. LSU has no passing game, but App St couldn't stop the run, and couldn't move the ball at all. LSU covers easily.

Bowling Green is looking very good so far, but I would be very surprised if Hawaii covers after that terrible 2nd Q.

Not a great start. Adding a few more plays and I am going to try to middle Louisville/UK. All plays were graded as -105 odds. Will post exact odds I get from now on. Still have UCLA and UK pending.

Louisville ML + Colorado ML (+101)

As long as Colorado wins I have a good middling opportunity if Louisville wins by 4 or less, and will be around even if either UK wins or Louisville wins by more than 4. Only way it backfires is if Colorado loses SU and Louisville wins by 5+.
