My only concern is Cal hasn't looked very good on offense against teams who play decent defense like UCLA and UW. Under 400 yards offense both games. USC probably falls in the same category as those two teams. I think the key here is how much USC can score.

I like the under in this game. Looking at SC they've handled both Oregon St and Wazzu pretty handily and both have similar spread passing attacks like Cal. Seems like more of the running spread teams have been ones that have given SC fits. In addition, they get a pretty good pass rush with their front 4 so they can drop 6-7 into coverage and Cal does not throw the ball to their back a ton. Having said that, I'll probably be completely wrong.

I also like USC in this game, despite Cal having played very, very well this year. Cal also has Stanford on deck FWIW. Same can be said for USC though with UCLA.

Yes GoSooners good observation I believe it was 366 yards and 368 yards - I believe USC can score (pass) at will as california has a terrible pass defense probably between 40 to 60 points but the 3 pac games on road for calif were 45-49, 60-59, and 45-31 and if u throw out the wash game as it is the only low scoring game and one has to do this sometimes then I believe over will win -

Hi - I hope that USC does what u said and drop guys off into coverage because the thing that concerns me the most is if USC blitzes i think cal could have troubles -

Looking at this from the other end, the USC team total over 43 might not be a bad play.

USC just went 14 plays for their 1st score. Looks like SC is going to take what Cal gives them. And then Kessler throws a bomb. Like I said earlier in my post, USC.

That had to be the worst fake punt play of all time by Cal. They are just giving USC these easy scores.

Hi Guys - unfortunately I lost the ov but fortunately I hedged half my bet on the Total at halftime on the un so it wasn't as bad as it could have been - some one in this thread was a little ahead of himself and bragging about his USC play as yogi Berra said it ain't over until it is over
