Saturday

I am going to start something new this week and hopefully continue it through the rest of the year on Saturday's. I am going to have a game of the week, strange line play, and a upset of the week. I play too many plays on Saturday so I am going to try to limit my plays to these categories and only play my strongest games.
Here they are:

***game of the week***

*Iowa -5- Iowa is 6-0 SU and ATS at home this year and has one of the best run stopping units in the country which is Minn strength. I think the Hawkeyes at home will be too much for the Gophers to handle. Iowa will stop the run game and make Minn try to beat through the air I don't believe they can win that way. Minn is horrible on defense and the Iowa offense should be able to move the ball on the ground all game long which will keep their defense fresh. I also like the fact that this is a dome and turf team playing outdoors in cold weather on grass which can only help the Hawkeyes. The line is moving in the way I want it to so I will wait until Sat morning to place my winner but this one should easy.

***Strange line play***

*Wisconsin -2 The Badgers are coming off a tough loss to Minn last weekend and will be ready to play vs the Spartans. The Spartans are coming off of 2 losses in a row and should be up for this contest as well. This line looks way off to me. Mich St in the top 25 and Wis who has been struggling this year so why Wis -2. Well if ya'll remember earlier in the year Wis was laying 2 at home to Ohio St who was undefeated at the time and that line looked strange as well and ya'll know what happened there. Wis outright over Ohio St with their backup QB no less. Everything in this game points to Mich St(trends, records, rankings) so I will lay the number with Wis. I will wait on this line as well but I hope it doesn't move in my favor because if it doesn't then I know something is up because the public will be on the Spartan side. Either way I am playing the Badgers

***upset of the week***

*West Virginia +1 The Mountaineers at home will be ready to play and the secondary will be ready to stop or slow down Mr Fitzgerald (WVA allows 10.20 ypc which is pretty good). Pacman Jones will not be intimidated by all the hype surrounding the Panthers great reciever and the Panthers offense won't be on the field that much because their defense can't stop the run. Quincy Wilson will have a field day going up against one of the worst run defenses in the country. Notre Dame ran all over this Panther team and we all know ND isn't a very good team this year. Wilson is a little banged up and their Qb(Marshall) will be coming back from injury this week as well but both of their replacements are more than capable of making plays vs this Panthers defense. Pitt allows 4.32 ypc while WVA gains 4.56 ypc. Pitt also should have a letdown after their last 2 big victories. WVA upsets Pitt!!!

Back later with exact lines that I am playing.

Saturday

4* Iowa -6 -105

4* Wisconsin -2

Back with WVA before the game as I think the line will be at least +2 by then.

Love all three of these plays. I was hoping that someone would get on West Virginia with me.
