According to this 2011 thread from the RX's old sister forum, it's true..

This is the craziest thing. I remember reading whormoan's posts here about the Pac 10 and his hatred for Pete Carroll for years when I just lurked. The guy always came off as angry, but was also a good analytical capper.

Long-time forums veteran "railbird" just said he thought whormoan's real identity was "common knowledge" throughout the forums..

Did any of you old timers like Conan or GS know this about whormoan? I'm still not sure if I believe this.

Oh yeah, I'm very familiar with Whormoan. Because of his hatred for all things Pac-12, he was more of a thorn in Conan's side than mine. He was so mean he made our local offseason cockroach Chris Paradise look like Ferris Bueller. Whore was a true junkyard dog. Just like the picture on his avatar.

Yeah, I remember him constantly battling with Conan, WC Bias, EGD, and other west coast guys. His last post here was early 2013.

But this is truly nuts that he's really Eric Abrams, Stanford football's all-time leading scorer. I remember that Stanford kicker well because he was really good and I was in college at that same time always gambling.

It all checks out too with his location here and at other forums saying "Daygo" and Eric Abrams being raised in San Diego. Whormoan use to always name drop about all the athletes he would run into at the gym and work out with in SD. Apparently some of the forums' longtime vets like Railbird, Viejo Dinosaur, and numerous moderators knew the truth about whormoan and his other aliases as well. Google search shows a lot too.

Seems like he was such an egomaniac that he started doing radio appearances for EOG wanting to make it clear he was a "former top PK for a BCS school" but demanded that his real identity remain private. Gee, I wonder why. And he's also since entered various capping contests under different names, cashing in a few.

He kept his identity secret from me and yes, I do remember him as well as his claim to be living on a "palatial" estate in San Diego and that his college game was played in the mid-90's for a Pac-10 school and that he drove a Lexus. He particularly hated the most recent winning Super Bowl head coach, Pete Carrol at a time when he had USC (Snoop Dog, Reggie Bush, etc.) in the palm of his hand.

I thought Carrol was a genius because he lead the team to whup anything the SEC offered him with record scoring... for that matter no one could beat USC when Carrol had them playing at the top of their game. Carrol's teams drove off the top teams in the SEC who to this day want nothing to do with any top Pac-12 team. Of course the SEC pundits claim all sorts of reason for this other than fear of losing, but what a coincidence it would be if they are being truthful That one is hard for me to buy because I was a witness to what Carrol did to the top teams the SEC had to offer. Carrol came up through the coaching ranks from the defensive game and he had a brilliant defensive mind. None of this was relevant to Whormoan.

Carrol was loved in LA where of course there still remains no NFL franchise. USC was LA's team and even Hollywood adopted the Trojans. Whormoan happened during this period which obviously must have sucked for him. He was fixated on their head coach which characterized most of his opinions in here. He couldn't pile the shit high enough to satisfy his damaged ego. Last I heard he actually got a spot to play for the Pedophilia Eagles.

Carrol was his chief nemesis and he often referred to him as "Bozo" the Carrol. Recently I thought about Whormoan after Carrol finally won the super bowl in the NFL. Kind of glad he did because he took an awful lot of shit from Jim Harbaugh when the two of them coached in the Pac-10 at the same time... and who he recently beat out coaching in the NFL where both the Seahawks and the 49ers are the two best teams in the NFL west. For Petey beating out Harbaugh was a big deal and a long time coming. Naturally just after the most recent super Bowl concluded I asked myself, "Hey, is Whoremoan hating this moment or what?"

Meant to say it that way but got pinched for time.

Here is an excerpt from an article that was published in 1998, a few years after he left college football. He did play one season for an arena football team but flunked out missing about 80% of his FG attempts... it's kind of funny that he would use "Arena Football" to describe the Pac-10 conference in his posts.

Three days later, after San Francisco police say they pieced things together, a warrant was issued for Abrams' arrest. According to the district attorney's office, he stands to face two felony counts of attempted kidnapping, one felony count of kidnapping, two felony counts of impersonating a police officer and one misdemeanor count of annoying with sexual intent.
Although he would not comment on Abrams' case, forensic psychologist Dr. Park Dietz said that generally "sex offenders who use ruses are more cunning and therefore more dangerous than those who use seduction. And the most dangerous ruse of all is posing as a police officer."
Dietz, of Newport Beach, is a recognized national expert on sex offenders. When asked about the notion that an obsessive-compulsive's failure to take his medication could result in the person committing sex crimes, Dietz said, "No. This is becoming a popular excuse, but it doesn't hold any water."
Pennypacker insists his client isn't a threat, as long as Abrams gets the help he needs and takes his antidepressant medicine.
"He is just the most passive, non-violent person you'd ever want to meet," said the attorney. "I've been defending him the last 10 months, and I just think it's unfortunate he got caught in this medical situation that we know we can work with.
"He has tremendous potential for still being a very contributing member of society."
Abrams remains in custody in Santa Clara County Jail, held on $900,000 bail. If convicted on those charges, he could face up to four to five years in prison. If convicted on the San Francisco charges, which are pending while the South Bay case plays itself out, he could face a 10-to-12-year sentence.

At a hearing April 28, Santa Clara County Municipal Court judge Jean High Wetenkamp raised the bail total to $900,000 on all charges.
Said Wetenkamp, "There is clearly a future danger to the community if Mr. Abrams is let out."

So you knew he was a former CFB player in the Pac 10, you just didn't know what position he played or for what school?

I think it's beyond creepy that he's really Eric Abrams, a convicted child molester. It appears he joined this forum, EOG, and others shortly after his incarceration was over. And then once his true identity was discovered by some across different forums sometime in late 2011, he created another alias "Mike Greene" and still enters contests under that assumed name.

Meanwhile he returned home to La Jolla after his jail time where his rich parents bought him a bunch of nice things, among them that Lexus and gym membership he was always talking about where he would see all those famous athletes.

This is one very sick person, guy needs a bullet in the brain.

Not that rare to have college players hate their coach. I played college hockey for one of the winningest coaches in D1 history, won a National Championship while there, and would not give my ex coach a bucket of water if he was on fire. Guy was a great coach, but looking back he gave his players (young kids) a total mind fuck and destroyed my confidence as a human being for four years.

He now coaches at Notre Dame and I can imagine he is doing the same thing to those young, formidable minds while there. Maybe it is part of the territory to be successful, but unless you have been in the environment, there is no explaining it to the lay person.

I can say one thing positive, there are not a lot of things that come along in my life that I cannot handle, process, overcome and put behind me. This I would attribute to my four years in college athletics where it was a constant, "Great job guys, don't get fucking cocky or we're gonna get our ass beat next weekend by (insert opponent)".
You didn't have time to bask in the glory, and to this day I have worn my championship ring exactly one time...just enough to know it was sized too big and thrown in a drawer with the rest of the rings I earned in college.

It turns out this story has many different legs...

Get this.. the reason for Whormoan's/Eric Abrams' extreme hatred for USC is also better understood now: Eric's brother (Adam Abrams) was USC's PK from 1994-1998. Eric and Adam were very competitive with one another growing up in La Jolla where they went to different high schools and kicked against one another.

In fact, Adam Abrams originally wanted to go to Cal to kick against his brother Whormoan/Eric Abrams who was kicking for Stanford.

In the end, Adam ended up at USC and was pretty successful there. He originally redshirted behind Cole Ford, but then became USC's kicker the season USC played Northwestern in the Rose Bowl where he had a big game. Maybe Whormoan/Eric Abrams hates USC so much simply because of the sibling rivalry factor?

Here's a 2007 interview from the USC website with Adam Abrams where they look back on his career there:

http://theuscherd.blogspot.com/2007/01/catching-up-with-adam-abrams.html

This is all really creepy yet fascinating. And it fits perfectly with Whormoan's constant rants about the Pac 10 and USC in general.

According to multiple threads on EOG, Whormoan/Eric Abrams told a couple well known posters like "Viejo Dinosaur" about his real identity. From there, things spread to different longtime posters and moderators across different forums. Radio personality John Kelly, who promotes EOG (The Shrink's site) on his daily show out of Vegas, still allowed Whormoan/Eric Abrams on his show in 2011 despite knowing who he really was. John Kelly is now catching a lot of flack for this since the truth about Whormoan has now been exposed on a wider range.

John Kelly has also allowed a few other now-exposed cons, stiffs, and shot takers on his show (despite referring to all of these individuals as "good guys"). That's why this story about Whorman/Eric Abrams is now being discussed again there.

Honestly man, I just find it so sick yet bizarre and interesting much like a trainwreck. It's pretty hard to ignore at this point because of this guy's nature around here and other places for so long. His obsession with USC, the fact that his competitive brother kicked for them, and all the little pieces really come together..

He always did strike me as having an enormous ego, but also incredibly angry and insecure at the same time. Life has probably been really brutal for him since his jail time and I imagine he's always trying to hide his real identity and has probably changed his name. The internet hadn't taken shape yet in the late 90's, so there isn't a ton of old information about this.

But then he let it slip and gave away way too many clues where he was eventually discovered. Maybe he did that almost subconsciously wanting to relive his "glory days" as Stanford's point scoring leader.. maybe that recognition from others meant more to him than the risk of him being found out as a pedophile.

He hasn't posted here since Jan 2013, but hopefully enough people will see this here just in case he slips up and posts as Whormoan again. Who knows though, maybe he's already read this thread or the ones on EOG about this. Either way, hopefully he eats a bullet soon.

It appears that he has a mean-streak in him....I never sensed any congeniality...I recall when he posted, he never conveyed any respect....I feel sorry for people like that.

Ironic that the two most hated people here are Whormoan and Junk. An ex-con and an ex-cop.

Without dredging-up some unpleasantries from he past, I recall that Junk 47 had a "schizophrenic" tone in his posts that were always argumentative and combative. I recall he always seemed to have an "erection" ensue whenever our Oregon friends would post, he would begin to foam at the mouth...He insisted on grappling (heads-up) with several of our respected posters. And then, out of nowhere, he would appear to try and exchange civil dialogue with some comments that were worth considering. Guys like Junk and Whormoan make Jeckl & Hyde appear to be stark amateurs when it comes to who the "split-personality" Kings are.

I learned a lot from Whormoan. The biggest lesson is just how nasty and rude a person can be while being resistant to reason and the truth. He was doubly stubborn about people that he tried his best to disgrace. It's been said before that Pete Carroll was Whormoan's #1 nemesis. I fail to see how a sibling rivalry would transfer over to a coach as heavily as it seems to have done if it's the truth. Nothing I've heard thus far in this thread or anywhere else goes on to explain just why he hated PC as much as he did. I am guessing that it may be from some sort of verbal exchange between he and the coach at some point but things have come out about him that prove there was more than just a super nasty and mean disposition to show that the guy was off his nut.

Only now I find out that his "Palatial Estate" in San Diego and his Lexus had nothing to do with his success in business or in gambling but he sponged them off of his Dad. That one really hit me good. I have to admit that I was as sucked in as the next guy to believe that the affluence he projected was his own doing. The fact that he was still living with mom and dad in their opulence (not his) undermines the entire image he attempted to project. (Remember to keep breathing.)

As was also the case with Junk who had even less proof to show than Whormoan, his claims about his own success that have now been exposed means that on the inside he was really a wimp and a failure who could do nothing more than dazzle them with bullshit. He was your typical bully and in gambling, that also includes trying to make everyone think you are a whale. He reminds me of Junk so much (or vice versa,) I have to shake my head out just to remember that they are different people that do the same things in very different ways.

Both of them doing radio? Holyshit!! That is just plain crazy. How very much alike they really are. Maybe some day there will be a psychological syndrome named after the two of them. They were both a couple of attention-whore junkies and there sure s such a thing. Does that one work OK?

Now that this perversion has come to light... here's something that I came up with after I did a little research.

image1384908g_original.jpg

Debra LaFave 25 year old school
teacher who "conjoined" herself
to a 14 year old male 9th grader.

Now at age 40-41 years, here is a mugshot of
Eric Abrams when he was playing for Bill Walsh.

md_Abrams93_mugRS.jpg

Could you have ever guessed that what these
2 people have in common is a preference for
having sex with 14 year old boys?
