Dude, bowl games can be so wacky......you see these same teams crush or beat good teams, then come bowl time, they don't show up, makes you wonder.........

yes sir,you are right on. but ive always started slow I don't know why but many bowls left. I'm leaning with Toledo like you but can the mac win again today versus a very good temple team? I mean temple played much better teams an fought Houston pretty good till late who was a 12 game winner! will temple be down hoping for the better bowl? I mean will temple have the motivation? who knows.if they are ready they could roll Toledo.
Good points.....but what I've seen over the years in bowls is some years certain things make sense & fall into place with all the numbers to back them. While other years, the numbers don't back many of the winners.
You can hit 75% of your college games capping a xertainn way in regular season, & then come bowl time, you're hitting 25% because the way you were capping doesn't work anymore in the bowls.......bowls are a totally different animal....baffling, but that's why casinos are always going up.

There is a lot of psychology involved when creating point spreads........people think that spreads are created to bring equal action on both sides, I agree to a point, but I also believe they try to create the line to sucker everyone to one side more than the other........f**kers are really greedy.
In the early bowl games, you don't know about some favorites... like Arizona, Temple, Utah State, that are disappointed and playing a small conference team after playing big names like USC, Oregon, Notre Dame, etcetera. And the small conference team is JACKED UP to play a BCS team.
Temple played a thriller against ND, then lost the conference championship to a good Houston team, then play..... TOLEDO! Bummer.
This yr NM, AKRON, and Toledo covered... sometimes the big team still shows up and crushes, slam dunks the little guy. Not these 3 games. There is NO WAY to really know if the good team will play lights out or just go through the motions.

I think these next too are the hardest yet to cap.nill was dead in there last game because no qb.boise has been an up n down team all year an cant be trusted laying too many pts. I know nothing of ga southern but played very good vs Georgia and seemed fairly competitive. bgreen another mac team was petty good all year.
