***West Virginia +13 I like the Mountaineers in this spot as they are playing at home an should be facing a Va Tech team that will be looking ahead the following week at Miami. It is hard not to look ahead when you will be playing for a possible national championship spot. Look what WVA did to Miami when they were looking ahead to Fla St. This is the same kind of setup and I will be on WVA in this one. Hopefully the line will rise to +14

Thursday

Ga Tech +2 The Jackets are 2-0 this year as a home underdog both SU and ATS. I like home dogs when the line is below 3 I believe most of the time the books are asking you to take the fav.

Saturday

Rutgers +5- They are 7-0 ATS this year and like getting +5- from a Temple team. the only draw back I see in this game is that the Owls have owned this sereis recently winning 4 straight vs Rutgers

***Purdue +5 The Boilernmakers are on a roll right now and the Mich Def has huge holes. Purdue is 3-0 vs the conf both SU and ATS this year. They have covered 3 of the last 5 years in this series. Mich could possibly be looking ahead to the Spartans next week as well. I like Purdue +5. I see this as a 3 point game either way.

Missouri +3 Tigers are 1-0 as a home dog this year and have revenge on their mind from last years drubbing they took from Tech 52-38. The tigers are avg 4.57 yds per rush and Tech allows 4.69 per rush. I think that the Tigers will try to run the ball and eat up the clock so that the very talented Tech offense will be on the sidelines.

Penn St +11 The dog has covered 5 straight in this series

***Ole Miss -1- The Rebels are 3-1 as a home favorite this year both SU and ATS. Ark is allowing 3.94 per rush and the Rebels are avg 4.53 per rush. Ark can't throw and the Rebels run stop unit is only allowing 2.84 per rush.

Texas A&M +5- I like A&M as a home dog and the dog has covered 4 of the last 5 years in this series. The home team has won the last 2 both SU and ATS in this series. OK ST could be looking ahead to OU next week.

***Bowling Green -4 BG is avg 49 ppg at home while only giving up 6.3 ppg at home. This line tells me that No Ill should lose this game.

The games with stars are the games that I really like.

Please reply with any comments, questions, or any thing relevant to the games!!!!

thanks in advance

I am definetly not going to play Purdue or Rutgers this week. One reason is because everyone is on those and I hate to play games where the public is on the same side. The other reason is that some respected cappers on here have Mich as a play this week and I got burned last week going against them so I will lay off.

Come on guys, I need some input on these games and no one has given me any feedback. Any input is greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks

I would be careful of WVU....
While Miami is next for VT...they will have 10 days to worry about Miami after this game. While Miami may have looked past WVU in the same scenario...VT got beat in Blacksburg last year by WVU. This is the same WVU team that had Wisconsin 17-7 and lost 24-7 at home and lost to Cincinnati 15-13 at home. They will get at least one punt...probably 2 blocked tonight. I look for at least 10 pts from VT special teams, let alone perhaps 7-10 from their defense. Marshall is not a very good QB. They beat Rutgers by only 15 even with an absolute gift TD right before the half. While they had oppurtunites to cover...Marshall missed at least 2 easy TD throws. They kill themselves with stupid penalties. They were totally outstatted by Miami...Berlin kept them in that game. Their OC is terrible at calling plays. I'm a WVU fan...but I cant see taking them in this spot...everybody is looking back at the Miami game....and forgetting about the Wisky/Cincy games. I look for VT to come out fast and strong...this game will be over by halftime...

i have a lean to hokies as well...cant see Beamer letting guys look ahead...this coach will have these guys primed for national tv, revenge, special teams, K. jones can make heisman statement, dont give the look ahead factor to much weight here, this is a solid program (as a UVA fan it KILLS me) so I am not a homer...I dont even know hokies ats record but don't think you make much $ betting against em

good luck

Miami also lost Gore in that game and Sykes and they were definately in look ahead mode to Florida State (IMO). Va Tech has had 11 days to prepare for this game and I think they saw the Miami game as well. Beamer is no dummy and anyone that watched the Rutgers game (unfortunately) knows Rutgers played well enough to win outright. Though the 1st half 88 yd TD with 2 seconds left to cover the 1st half line was beautiful for me then.

I've been chalky all year and I think this is another good example of a chalk walk for Va Tech. Plus the WV punter has had one blocked for a TD (ask Wisky). I wonder if Va Tech is any good at special teams.

I may take the first half line -7. I would think the Hokies would set the tone in the first half easily. We'll see...I'd like to hear other reasons for WV bettors before I take the plunge (and other reasons besides Va Tech will look ahead). WV beat these guys straight up in Blacksburg last year! Revenge?

We'll see....WV bettors let us know WHY.

This is a HUGE revenge game for Frank Beamer and his boys against West Virginia that beat them last year on their home turf.....

I personally see Va Tech getting after them very quickly in the 1st half
