Hurry? I've been waiting since January 6th, 2008 for a phone line for my wife. Pisses me off every time I can't reach her.

I suppose I could try to find a TDMA phone again and activate one of those. Probably cheaper than $200, but versus time waiting in line at ICE.

BTW, TDMA phase out is 2009-2011. How does the phase out work? I hope the actual TDMA coverage still physically exists until the latter end, and they don't start canceling existing lines.

In any case, if it works for 6 months that good for me, I hope to get some fucking GSM lines by then.

i think i read somewhere that TDMA holders will have priority when the 3g starts here and they need to get rid of tdma but sure is nothing official
