What are you implying. You think when a droplet with virus in it goes out of a person's mouth & hits his mask & gets stuck there, then the virus leaves the droplet by itself & continues on alone through the mask & is able to infect others?

What the idiots don't comprehend is that the virus isn't floating around, or being released, by itself, but in ASPIRATED WATER DROPLETS which are much larger than smoke or air particles & are often blocked by masks, even cloth masks, but especially N95, KN95 and medical masks. There is no evidence of transmission from free-floating viral particles. The transmission is from respiratory droplets and aerosols, the smallest of which are in the 5 um range.

...and surgical masks filter down to 1um.
