CC's Week 5 Picks and Discussion

Silently and patiently I'm finding my groove with nice wins the last two weeks.

Tom B was a real let down on MNF and it really drove home to me that the age of empires has moved on. With that being said we are at the beginning of the "sweet spot" of the season and the gloves are off.

Off to a good start this week with Gb. Hoping the momentum keeps going.

Cinn -1. Ive watched every one of the Pats games this year and they are for sure a bottom 10 team. Cincy can smell the blood in the water and there's a new king in the AFC. Statement game for the Bengals here. All you stat and trend guys good luck with your Brady and Belichick bullshit.

StL. +7. With one of the worst O-lines in the game, the Eagles will have a tough time getting the run game going for Lesean. This will lead to more passing, and sacks, and turnovers. This Phili team is lacking personnel, plain and simple. 7 points to a rested team with a great o-line and defense. Huge mistake by the oddsmakers, love it.

Chicago +2. Bounce back game here for the Bears after getting crushed at home against a Carolina that is in trouble at almost every postion.

Houston +6. This inter-state rivalry will be a close one. Tonys due for a letdown like he usually does at home as a fav. Houston does just enough to stay within the number. This line is off by 3 points

Cleveland +2. Something about this Cleveland squad has me excited. They could very easily have been 3-0. Watch out for these guys, lots of young speed and they play hungry.
