CC Sabathia taking somewhat of a no-hitter to the 8th

Got robbed by the official scorer... guy had a swinging bunt to him in the 5th, CC dropped it when he tried to pick it up and they ruled it a hit....

he will be pissed if its the only one he gives up

I can't cite a rule, but it has been done before.

the announcers kept saying usually official scorers mark it an error and then later in the game (once the team gets some more hits) they will changes it.... it clearly was not a hit, CC just botched it

MLB will change it for stat purposes ... They do it all the time.

It sort of takes the pressure off of CC, with a hit being recorded... for now,IMO.

No hitters don't impress me very much, anyways.

Didn't cost him anything, they almost certainly will change it to an error, if he gets the last 3 batters out W/O a hit.

Crew celebrated like it was a NH. MLB will reverse it but just not the same.

They could change it as late as Monday. I need to see the play, to give an opinion, but it sounds like an error.
