ChiSox Play 3/23/2006
Texas Rangers ML
If Hideo Nomo doesn't blow the game in the first few innings, I suspect the shaky BP will later on considering how much power the Texas lineup has. The latest word is while Ozzie says he's not concerned about Jenks' location troubles as of late he's also considering using Cotts as a closer. That could work but it would really mess up our BP rotation. Right now the only two good relievers we have are Cotts and Politte, and we have no true closer right now. Nomo is one of several candidates auditioning for a BP job but I just don't see it happening for him today. Kevin Milwood takes the mound for Texas and out of all the guys that started for Cleveland last year, this guy was the toughest against the ChiSox imho. Not sure if Pods is playing today for Chicago, but I heard Thome may not.
