There are a lot of people here. I was here back in November and it was a ghost town. It seems to be a lot rougher crowd than I am used to. Supposedly a lot of gangs have had gun fights on the strip since there isn’t as many police officers out and about now. I just make sure I am inside after dark but I am older and have been coming since I was 21 so I have done all the late night night stuff.
I was actually talking about the strip. Downtown was pretty dead but I was down there during the day. I will probably try to stay at Circa when I come in October. The strip is a lot different after COVID. My son was playing craps last night and because he played on the don’ts the guy rolling actually through the dice and hit him in the chest. He was standing next to the stick guy so it wasn’t an accident. The pit boss and the dealers didn’t do anything. It’s probably a good thing I wasn’t there or I would have probably gotten into a fight. I hate to say it like this but the thugs have moved in and are running the strip area. I have seen some crazy shit at several casinos between people who intimidate the dealers. One guy threatened to kick the pit bosses ass if he didn’t give him his last bet back because the dealer made the wrong call. Guess what...he gave it back to him. The police need to be more involved or it’s going to get worse.
