This is the same team that was seconds from beating Georgia Tech. Look for the Flames to come out strong in this one and win their opening League game. Place will be rocking!!!
5 Units-Texas-5 over Seton Hall-The longhorns are for real. They may be even better than last year. A team with a lot of depth, 6 players averaging double figures. Look for them to make a statement in this game and run the Pirates Down.
5 Units-Buffalo-7 over Western Michigan- Buffalo has one of the best home-court advantages in CBB. They blow team out of their Gym. This game will be no different, Western Michigan is very soft on the frontcourt something the Bulls will take advantage of!!
4 Units-Drexel+7 1/2 over St.Joes-Don't be surprise if Bruiser goes back to his alma mata and comes out with a straight up victory. Drexel has 4 returning starters and excellent guards, something st.Joes is lacking after the departure of best back-court in the country in 03.
4 Units-Gonzaga-16 over UMASS-The Minutemen are in way over their head. They may hold their own against Northeastern(Loss), Yale, and Birmingham, but they are wayyyy out of their league. The Zags will roll this team by half-time. Easy 20 point+ win here, UMASS has no one to shoot the ball, while the Zags are loaded with shooters.
3 Units-Pacific+19 over Kansas-Good Let-down spot for the Jayhawks after throttling Nevada. In sneaks Pacific who plays very good defense. Should be able to stay within the number on this one.
3 Units-Northern Iowa-3 over Loyola Chi-Northern Iowa a much better team 2-1 with a loss @Cincinatti in OT. They get the win and the cover!
