I'm hating the funk the Pads are in right now. Maddux looks old real fast and Germano is going to get racked this half. So Peavy, and Young basically have to win every start. The Giants do us no fucking favors losing to L.A every stinking time. And the D-Backs own the Pads and we still have 12 games left against them

Maddux is used up.

I have been thinking this for a while. Pads starting pitching isn't much after Peavy and Young. Same boat as Dodgers with Lowe and Penny. I think Billingsly will step up the second half. Dodgers have the advantage on offense. Padres with the bullpen. It will be a tight race.

Both teams have weaknesses. Cubs might be the team to beat.
