Wow, so these casinos lured people in with bogus bonuses and then, once they received deposits, froze the accounts? And this was over two years ago?

Now the issue is being looked at because the new owner of the Rx had an interest in the casinos? There's no hero here. Just business, guys.

Seconded.

Could someone please explain EXACTLY what type of fraud the casino is claiming?

Someone suggested card counters, but this seems unlikely as
1) card counting is not cheating
2) any casino program should have enough decks in shoe and cut-card placement to make card counting ineffective. (It's not like the physical casinos where more decks increase the shuffle time and slow the table.)

Was there flaw in the casino's random number generator that allowed the players to predict the outcome of events? Was the machine hacked (much more serious type of fraud)?

Java, there was NO fraud. It was just an EXCUSE so he could ban a whole country and not pay. I know it sounds soo unbelievable but the sad fact is, that is the truth. There was no fraud, cheating, stealing, or anything done by the players. They played by the rules. Just like when you and me send 1dime to Olympic and get our 10% bonus and meet the 4x rollover and then cashout. This is what these players did. Marty Jensen took the easy way out of not paying these guys, by just banning the whole country and hoping it would go away. And it did for 2years until he popped up here.

Nets2k2-

Accepting for the moment your statement that there was not actual fraud, I would still like to know what specific type of fraud the casino "claimed" was occurring.

Shrink, a little help here, if you have the specifics.

I think when a book cries "fraud or scam" and refuses to pay, I think they need to detail the claim. Given the facts, the community is usually pretty good about debating whether the player's behavior was within the rules.

My inderstanding was that the Danish players were just taking the large bonus and playing sound strategy in order to meet the rollover and then cashing out. I read somewhere that there was even some local personality on TV telling people how to do it.

I doubt many of these players were interested in becoming long term customers but rather just getting the bonus, meeting the requirements and getting out. Not what the casino was hoping for but not fraud or "malicious gaming" -- whatever that means.

What Marty Jensen claimed is that all the danish players were scammers and doing chargeback. The truth is that many other casino owners have stated on casino forums that the fact is the danish players actually have less chargebacks then many other countries. And I even told Marty those that charged back on you dont pay them(even though im some cases he left them with no option by telling them in 6months from now we will review accounts and then decide if we will return your deposits and winnings. Most chargeback period ends within 60-90 days I believe.) However still most players never made the chargeback thinking foolishly that they would recieve their deposit and winnings back in 6months but that never happened. So not only did they not get paid thier winnings they had their POSTUP money stolen also.

Thanks for the info. Based upon an earlier post about the casino switching to new software, I had been under the impression that the "alleged scammers" had exploited a software flaw. Chargebacks are a very different type of fraud that is independent of the software.

That's why I always ask for the specifics.
