I still like this mag a lot though, but I havent seen a copy of it in almost a year. It's good to know it's around. I'd like to get a subscription to this. My local news stand cut back on their gambling mags. But they sell the gold sheet on a stack next to the cashier lol.

Do you know what that list says clips, it says Bodog markets the best. And thats why Bodog has shot from an unknown to where they are now so fast. They are incredibly agressive as has been stated here several times.

BoDog is going to be on top of everyone's lists because of their marketing...that is no secret.

I would even expect Sportsbook.com to be voted well above either of those because of their marketing and square base.

Casino Player historically has had their best of list dominated by everything Harrah's in the past.

It's well-known that it's basically paid advertisement and is pretty much a joke.
I'd say the magazine is completely geared to squares.

It just dawned on me that I am not thinking of casino player, I'm thinking of a magazine called 'chance' which I have serious doubts to it still being in publication.

I dont think I've read 'casino player' I apologize.

I liked chance a lot. Heck I like any magazine with a gloss cover that covers gambling.

Never heard of Casino Player Ive heard of Card Player and Bluff for Poker though.

Usually the biggest money makers for any business get the most praise.

Casino Player has a few tidbits in it each month, but overall it is geared for the super square and is full of BS.

Most all the magazines are total trash. I was sitting in on a meeting and our head of marketing was asked to rank the top three magazines to advertise in. After he stopped laughing and said "does it really matter?" His point was simply those magazines are promotional rags that companies in the gaming industry advertise in only because its one of those things you just do and hold your nose doing it.
