lol you crack me up, you might quickly become one of my favorite posters. Casino's employ people who can spot fakes and know all the tricks in the book (just think of bouncers, but alot more $$$$$ invested at stopping you). If your losing and your questionable they probably wont hassle you, but if your winning, its in their best interest to get rid of you. The first time i was in vegas (probably 22 yr olds) i had quite a nice run at the tables and roulette, was up a few thousand and was betting on occasion a few hundred on a roulette spin (i was by myself, friends had left for airport, i flew out later). Pit boss came up to me, told me they had been watching me for the past day. She asked if i had a house card (i told her no), she told me if i gave her my id she would do it for me. I told her i was leaving for the airport soon so it didnt really matter. She took my id anyways and about 20-25 mins later came back with my id and a players card. Im sure my id was checked over in hopes of kicking me out.

Im pretty sure they will ask for your id before you even enter. Im almost 30 and they still ask for mine but the waitress always has my drink ready when i walk in.

i was in AC underage years ago.....was a few months away from 21 but wasnt sure if law was 18 or 21...so i just walked into every casino on the strip...got carded a couple times...showed them my underage id and never got thrown out...not sure if they were retards and couldnt find the date on my out of state id or that they just looked at the year and not the month

what im saying is the AC goons arent the smartest on the block...i wouldnt dick around with slots and video poker since that potentially creates a 1099 issue.....plays cards and cash out a lil at a time and youll be fine

AC has begun to card more around the holidays. They did it for Halloween this year and I'm am sure they will do it even more often on New Years. Good luck.

Alright, im underage (19) and wanted to take a trip out to Atlantic City this New Years. Now I had a couple of questions for those who are casino savvy. (1) If I win say 5k and try to cash out, they will make me file some paperwork correct? I was asking this because I will have to go inside with a fake ID. Other than the fake ID, what else will I have to know so that the cash out will be as nonchalant as possible? ie. SSN,etc. Will they try to verify all of the details I give them? Like address and do like a background check? I was thinking because if I win, I would have to report it on my taxes but if I have all false info then I just take the winnings and dont have to worry about taxes on the winnings. Any info regarding this would be very helpful. And any Casino reccomendations at AC would be great thanks. :think2:

I was in the same boat, but in Canada and in the islands (might be 18 there anyway). Won about 1.5k and wasn't asked for ID or anything.

Thanks IrishTim, I guess a fake worked fine for Phil since back then they didnt have any id card readers. If anybody asks for my id ima say i didnt bring it. And if I get lucky enough to cash out I will have my father cash the chips out for me. Hope everything goes well and yeah I know 5k is Jah like not gonna happen.

So I went to AC yesterday and im back just now... My father and I hit the Tropicana since hes gambled there all the time. As soon as I walk inside I see little kids running around putting quarters in machines,pulling levers and getting scolded by the pit boses lol. I cant believe how WIDE OPEN this casino was. It was like a fucking mall with theather inside. I played holdem,bj,craps and Roullete. Not once did a casino employee confront me and ask for id. Shit like I said, Lil kikds were out there ganbling no shit!! Sad to say LB didnt win 5k... or anything for that matter. Down 250 on christmas but to me it was worth da experience,

Why not go with someone who's 21 so if you do get lucky and hit a slot for $1100, you don't have to fill out a 1099. That person would, but you can work something out.

Why would anyone have to fill out a 1099 for a $ 1100 win ? $ 1200 is the limit as far as I know.

No matter if you won or lost, as long as you had a good time is the best thing. Especially a good time with your father.
