I see that alot of the offshore books will pay with a cashiers check. My question is this. Can you cash a cashiers check in any bank or check cashing place? I do not feel comfortable depositing in to my bank account. My fear is not the I.R.S. or any other government body. My fear is of something much worse. My wife. Thanks in advance. Also does anyone know of any alterative to cashiers checks?

You can deposit company or cashier cheques from a book or any other entity into an ALFII account, and issue money orders which you can send to others via e-mail or print out on the spot as you need them. But it is far cheaper than using WU for any significant amount of money, far more private than a bank (no ID or SS# is required to open an account) is U.S. based and fully compliant with the law. I have used them for about a year and a half and never had a complaint.
