Palmer has come a long way in a*month

Carson Palmer expected to be at Qualcomm Stadium sometime this year, just not like this.
“I was hitting up Norv [Turner] for tickets at one point – I wanted to bring my son to a game,” Palmer told Rich Eisen and crew on NFL Network’s set last night.
Hopefully his son had good seats for Thursday night’s performance. We noted a few times during the week that Palmer’s performance against the Broncos last week was better than the stats indicated.
“These guys have been playing a long time since training camp started, and I’m just getting rolling,” Palmer said via the Contra Costa Times. “It’s just weird. There’s no word to describe it.”
Palmer still had too many turnovers last night (2), but his deep throws to Denarius Moore were things of beauty. Even after losing Jacoby Ford, you could see Palmer enjoying the speed he had at receiver.
“[Moore] has everything you need to be a successful receiver. It just depends on how great he wants to be,” Palmer said.
If Palmer can keep making progress, the Raiders have everything they need for their first playoff birth in almost a decade.
