don't have the late scratches, so these plays are subject to change, but here's my preview of tomorrow's but-for-carryover non-descript wednesday:
r4: classic saga. i'm giving the edge to 'sage, even though he has little speed, draws the rail and gets paul atkinson. not really a lethal trifecta for success. nevertheless, the horse that i would otherwise back, little jag, has a jock i've never heard of and dean greenman has burned me too many times first out of the box with precociously bred firsters who have been working well. shame on me, dean greenman. anyway, this is a very empty race and i may stand alone with 'saga, who ran a suck-up second behind runaway winner v-8 rocket.
r6: young pioneer. everyone will be singling mud shark, and i'll use him, too, but i love the looks of young pioneer, who figures to be flying alon on the engine with the red-hot alex solis. the son of marlin probably wants to route anyway and with two sprints under his belt, he should go well in here at overlaid odds.
r7: sharpbill. don't have any idea if we'll get a decent price on this daughter of eagle eyed, but she has speed, draws the favorable outside box and gets pval. that IS a trifecta for success. looks like both honeypenny and any for love will be tough, but i think sharpbill's the best filly in the race and i will back her accordingly.
r9: mysterious peace. this daughter of long-winded cryptoclearance is lightly raced and stretching out off a better than looked 6th place effort. 'peace broke awkwardly, and couldn't keep pace in an even debut. that running style bodes well for the stretch-out to two turns and she adds the blinkers for tyler and grant hoffmans. the competition is so poor, she should be right there at the wire.
good luck.
