When I first saw the spread with Dallas I was surprised but I wasn't completely surprised...

look at their opening spreads as road team all season long..

Week 1
Carolina -2.5 vs JAX
Final Carolina 20-9

Week 4
Carolina -3 vs TB
Final Carolina 37-24

Week 5
Carolina +6 vs Seattle
Final Carolina 27-24

Week 10
Carolina -4 vs Tennessee
Final Carolina 27-10

all year Vegas has been hating on this team on the road and they have only played 4 road games all year and three of them have been against bad teams... This all lines up for a Dallas win on a short week. Just been looking through posts didn't see anything about this trend this season

also they have played only one road game since October 18th and now they have a road game on a short week

Carolina Panthers remind me of the 1999 Rams led by Kurt Warner who went on to win the Superbowl that year labelled the Greatest show on turf, that team got no respect from beginning to end just like these Panthers !!!! there seems to be a big hate for them especially Cam Newton ??? I don't get it next to A rodgers and T Brady this guy has been unstoppable this year, wouldn't surprise me one bit if they go to SuperBowl!!! I bet the Panthers large this week, they handle the Cowgirls easy this Thursday, the Tony Romo effect is all smoke and mirrors this cowboy team is still bad !!!!

cheers

Everyone is saying that "carolina is due" for a loss..

This is basically the same mentality of someone walking up to a roulette table, seeing all reds and says, hey, lets put it on black.

bet on a streak, win multiple times, bet against a streak, you can only win once!

Either carolina or no play IMO.

OK, I awarded OneZero post of the day....... this ties it. Cam stayed at BoA last night until 2 am studying film. There wasn't a damn light on in the house. I got a house full of Panthers season tickets holders coming over for T-Giving dinner tomorrow, I gotta play the Cats. A few of the Panther players were quoted in today's Charlotte Observer as having no animosity toward Hardy, but I guarantee you Superman has taken exception to that girlfriend beater's comments. You Dallas backers, get all that you want, Earth, Wind and Fire is coming to JerryWorld.

many sharps are clearly on Dallas here....much of the public all over Carolina. doesnt mean Dallas wins. sharps lose. the public wins.

Dallas defense has been healthier and playing better. it's just hard to know what to expect from the offense with Romo back, especially facing a good defense like the Panthers. last week Romo looked unsurprisingly rusty. should improve this week.

tough to get a feel for the game honestly. can certainly see Dallas winning this but betting against Carolina seems foolish

On thanksgiving how does the public fare?

Usually pretty well I believe. I like to bet with the sheep in one of the 2 first

This is a game where the Xs and Os fvor Carolina but all the tell-tale signs with the action scream Dallas. It seems Carolina is due for a loss, but man, everyone here (me included) thought their let-down game would've taken place vs Tenn (or even Wash). Tricky game. I think I like the Panthers, but I am starting to think I should just focus on the total.

haha I hope he isn't

I look at this game with it being a 10-0 team vs a team that is 3-0 when their team is healthy. I'm leaning towards a small play on Dallas but I am going to wait until I see shitheads pick

A few years ago you could have bet all the favorites in the NFL and college and won. My bro and I hit a 5 teamer and so began the tradition of the thanksgiving parlay.

They were saying the Vikings are due to lose as well for weeks, & it finally caught up.

Its gonna catch up to Carolina also......& this may be the week.

Carolina has made me money this year, but IMO, bad spot!

Agree with the disrespect angle on Carolina and that Cam has played exceptional this year, but to say that with Romo back the Boys are still a bad team is ludicrous. Even with Romo out the Cowboys held 2nd half leads in 6 of 7 games(Pariots game the exception). Teams will no longer be able to stack the box knowing that Cassel or Weedman won't make them pay. Romo allows Cowboys to extend drives and keep their defense off the field instead of being gassed out by the 4th qtr because of all the 3 and outs delivered by their inept backup QBs. If you watched any of those games that Romo was out you could see how predictable and vanilla the OC called plays---run, run, pass, punt. They assumed that their offensive line could carry them through these 7 games. Well when you play 6 to 8 defenders on 5 offensive lineman you are going to lose that battle most of the time. Bad spot for Carolina here IMO---undefeated team on a short holiday week coming off a blowout win, now on the road against a team with a losing record. The NFC homefield advantage isnt as tight as it is in the AFC with the Packers and Vikings being 3 games behind so the pressure isnt as great on Carolina to win out, but for Dallas they are fighting for their playoff lives thanks to the weak NFC east division----should Giants lose to Washington on sunday and Dallas wins tommorow they would be one game out of the division lead----how may teams that have lost 7 in a row been as fortunate? Not calling a blowout here, but Boys pull out a close one...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING RX!
